Fred is now ready to rehome as a youngster for handling. He was hand reared and consequently he is an incredibly friendly and very nosy pony. Fred loves attention and enjoys coming in from the field for a good grooming session. He has also met the vet and farrier with no problems at all. He has integrated well into a herd of other ponies and will do well in a home where he will have other ponies to play with. Regular handling will be beneficial to Fred's development and we believe that he has the potential to become a super lead rein pony when he is old enough. In the mean time he may be suitable to attend some in-hand shows. We estimate that Fred will mature to approximately 12.2hh. If you are interested in Fred, please apply online.
He is a very friendly pony, but he still needs to learn some boundaries.
Fred has had a difficult start in life. He was born via Cesarean in April 2016 and was hand-reared because his dam did not survive.
