Bentley Rehomed
Bentley Image 3 On arrival

Introduction

Bentley is now ready to rehome as a ride and drive pony. Bentley has recently been trained to drive which he has taken to like a duck to water. He happily drives in our indoor school and around the farm tracks. We have also backed Bentley to ride, but he is still green and is looking for a rehomer who has the experience to be able to continue his education. Bentley needs a rider who can be quite confident and firm with him while out hacking as he does take advantage of a more inexperienced rider. He is happily walk, trot and cantering around our farm tracks, and we think he would really enjoy doing pleasure rides. He is better in company, but with a confident rider will go on his own. He is a very quiet and gentle pony to handle and enjoys coming in for a groom and some fuss. Bentley was gelded this year and still takes an interest in mares when out in the field. Therefore, he is best suited to turnout with geldings only. Bentley is good with the vet and farrier. If you are interested in Bentley, please apply online.

Temperament

Bentley is a very gentle, sweet pony.

History

When Bentley arrived at Penny Farm he was a stallion and very underweight. He had been removed from his owner, along with four others, after they were discovered living in an unsuitable environment and in poor bodily condition.
