Cloud is an adorable highland that is ready to find a new home as a companion pony. He came in as part of a welfare group and was very nervous on arrival. Cloud came out of his shell very quickly and is now one of the friendliest ponies on the farm. He marches up to you in the field as he loves attention and is always hoping he will be brought in for a pamper. Cloud was gelded late in life and still likes the mares so is only suitable to live with other geldings. He came in with Kelpie (KB) and they absolutely love each other. We would really like to find them a home together as they are joined at the hip and would be very sad to be separated. They will make someone a lovely pair of companion ponies. They were both out on loan together but were returned due to a change in circumstances so have lived together their entire lives. Cloud is so laid back about life and is very good to handle in all ways. As Cloud is a native, he will need his grazing restricted to prevent him gaining too much weight. Unfortunately, Cloud has poor conformation of his left fore limb and does not stay sound in ridden work. He became very unpredictable when ridden so is strictly a non-ridden companion pony. If you think you could offer Cloud and Kelpie a forever home, please apply online.
He is very laid back and easy to do.
Cloud arrived at Belwade Farm in June 2016 along with several unhandled ponies who were found living in unsuitable conditions. He was still entire and had been running with mares and another stallion.
Cloud is not to be ridden and is offered for rehoming strictly as companion only. His conformation is not suitable for ridden work. Cloud can only mix with geldings and he can not be left on his own as he does not settle.
