Zucchini may be a little cob, but she is full of fun. She is looking for a home as a non-ridden companion as, sadly, following backing it became clear that her conformation and temperament were not suitable enough for her to be ridden as a children’s pony. She is well behaved for the farrier and vet, how ever Zucchini can easily forget her manners if not handled consistently and she can be a little sharp sometimes but never nasty, because of this we are looking for an experienced handler. Zucchini is living out full time with a herd of mares. She may be suitable to be left alone whilst her field mates are being worked if given time to settle in. She is a good doer so will need her weight managed especially during the warmer months.
She is generally laid back, but can be sharp at times. Zucchini is looking for an experienced handler.
Zucchini came to us in a large group as part of a welfare concern.
