Buena is looking for a youngster home where she can continue growing up and learn lots more about life. She is an inquisitive pony who has been well handled but will need her basic ground skills continued to ensure good behaviour and manners. Buena currently lives out with other mares and although she has practiced some skills alone, she will require one or more field companions. She has started to learn about standing in a stable for short periods so this could be part of her routine in a home. Buena is fed a vitamin and mineral supplement once a day and would need to continue this in a home up until she is 3 years old. We would love to find her an experienced home with someone looking for a youngster companion for now. Buena does have the potential when old enough to be backed for ridden work but for now, would enjoy interaction and could participate in in hand agility or showing in the future. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT BUENA WILL HAVE A MAXIMUM RIDER WEIGHT LIMIT OF 9 STONE WHEN SHE IS OLD ENOUGH TO BE RIDDEN.
Very inquisitive and nosey.
Buena was born at Glenda Spooner Farm and has only ever known kindness and love. Her mother who is only a 3 year old herself, was brought in with several other mares in very poor condition back in May 2019.
