Desmond is ready to rehome as a non ridden companion. Desmond came into us with very limited handling and was quite nervous of any human interaction. He has had some sort of trauma to his side in the past which has left him with a significant scar to his right side. This causes him no discomfort and doesn't affect him in any way. His groom has worked hard to help him trust us and he has turned into a friendly, cheeky pony. He requires an experienced rehomer as he can sometimes be a little strong-willed, but is good to groom in the stable, and to catch and lead. Desmond is currently turned out 24/7 with a group of geldings, who he gets on well with, and will happily come into a stable. He is good for the vet and farrier with a calm approach. If you can offer Desmond a home, please apply online.
Desmond is a lovely pony, but can still be a little wary.
Desmond came into Penny Farm as part of a large welfare case. He was unhandled and scared of any human interaction.
