Archie - full profile

Archie Rehomed

Archie is a lovely kind gelding with a sweet nature. He gets on well with others and likes to stay out of trouble. Archie is a gentle boy who is generally well mannered and good to handle but can be a little wary in new situations. Archie has the potential to be backed to ride or drive in the future so we are looking for an experienced home with someone who has previous experience with training horses to ride or drive. As Archie can still be timid in new situations he would benefit from regular, consistent handling to gain his confidence and plenty of time to settle in his new home before he is ready to start work. Archie has a maximum rider weight limit of 8 stone.

Archie is a sweet boy with a kind nature. He can be wary in new situations so will need regular, consistent handling to give him the confidence he needs.

Archie came into Hall Farm in May 2019 as a welfare concern. He was unhandled and entire on his arrival. Our field officer found him to be scouring badly, he was monitored and the diarrhoea did not improve, it was suspected that he had a worm problem.
