Flashy Pants (Lola) Rehomed

Introduction

Lola is ready to be rehomed as a companion with potential. She is excellent to handle in all ways and is a very sociable pony. She currently lives out 24/7 with a variety of mares but could be stabled part time if needed or be left for short periods if another horse was ridden. Lola has started some strengthening, including lunging and long reining and has also been walked out around our local village, she is proving to be very sensible and straight forward so does have the potential to become a lead rein pony with the right education. As with most native ponies she will need strict grazing management to prevent weight gain and laminitis so would suit a home with ponies on the same management as herself. She does get a bit itchy so will need to wear a fly rug and mask throughout the summer months. Lola does have mild cushings, but this is easily controlled with medication.

Temperament

Lola has a brilliant temperament and is good to handle in all ways.

History

When Lola arrived at our centre in September 2019, she was overweight with sore, itchy skin.

General Information

Lola suffers from mild sweet itch so will need to wear a special rug through the midge seasons. She is currently living out 24/7 at our centre.
