Dun With You or Peaches as she is known here at the farm is an adorable coloured youngster with such beautiful markings. She is ready to find a new home as a youngster where she will receive lots of attention and handling. Peaches came in as part of a welfare case and was worried about life when she arrived at Belwade Farm. She quickly came out of her shell with some consistent handling and has turned into a friendly wee pony. Peaches will happily stand to be groomed and loves attention. She is polite to handle and good for our vet and farrier. Peaches is very affectionate and loves a scratch from her groom. She would thrive in a home where she will be handled regularly and be able to see lots of new things. Although she is good to handle, she will need a confident person to bring her on so someone with experience with young ponies is essential. Peaches will need her teeth checked by an equine dentist or vet every six months. She may be suitable as a ridden or driven pony in the future but will need to be assessed by a vet when she reaches four years old to decide if she can begin work. If Peaches is backed to ride in the future, she will have a maximum saddle and rider weight limit of 76kg and is expected to make 14.3hh. Peaches does not need her grazing overly restricted as she is still growing but will need her weight monitored once out on loan. She is currently living out with a group of mares but would happily mix with geldings. Due to her age she is not suitable to be left by herself so will always need a friend in the field. If you think you could offer Peaches a new home where she can continue with her education, please apply online.
Peaches is an inquisitive cheeky youngster.
Peaches came into World Horse Welfare care in September 2019 as part of a welfare case. She arrived with nine other ponies and was very nervous on arrival. Peaches was weaned at Belwade Farm and has come on leaps and bounds with her handling.
