Chancer - full profile

Chancer Rehomed

Chancer is a handsome cob that is ready to find a new home as a project pony with the aim of being broken to drive out on loan. He is such a lovely pony and is extremely chilled out about life. Chancer was entire when he arrived at Belwade Farm and was gelded late so is only suitable to live with other geldings. He gets along great with all his friends in the field and is very well behaved. He is turned out with a lot of cheeky youngsters, but he is such a good boy and manages to stay out of trouble. Chancer is excellent for our vet and farrier and has lovely manners. He enjoys a fuss being made of him but is not very keen on having his feathers brushed out. This is improving with regular handling and he is becoming less dramatic about it. Chancer is happily long reining around the farm and has had a driving harness on which did not faze him in the slightest. He is ready for someone to take him on and teach him to drive as we think he has the perfect temperament for it. Chancer has a very short back which unfortunately makes him unsuitable as a ridden pony, but we think he will love driving. Due to his type he will need his grazing restricted over the summer months. If you think you could offer Chancer a new home as a driving pony please apply online.

Chancer has lovely manners and is a very chilled out cob.

Chancer came into World Horse Welfare care along with three other ponies in July 2019. He was entire on arrival and was gelded at Belwade Farm.
