Ffreya is a beautiful wee Welsh A that is ready to find a new home as a project pony. She has started her education at Belwade Farm and has taken to work brilliantly well. Ffreya was quite nervous on arrival but her groom has done an excellent job of gaining her trust and building her confidence. She will need an experienced home as she can still be a little shy to catch for new people. Ffreya may have the potential to be a small child’s lead rein pony if she is backed to ride out on loan. She will have a saddle and rider weight limit of 30kg. Ffreya is a lovely wee pony but can have her sassy moments so will need to be handled regularly. She can be a little bit of a madam in the field but is happy to live with mares and geldings. Ffreya is good to handle and has good manners. She is really enjoying her groundwork and we think she will make a lovely ridden pony. Ffreya is a typical Welsh pony and gains weight easily so will need a home where her grazing can be restricted, especially during the summer months. If you think you could offer this pretty wee pony a new home where she can fulfil her potential as a ridden pony please apply online.
Freya is a lovely wee pony and is very friendly once she gets to know you.
Ffreya came into World Horse Welfare care in September 2019 as part of a welfare case. She was part of a successful, large prosecution case involving more than 40 ponies in total. She was very worried on arrival but has grown in confidence since being at Belwade Farm.
