Cadet is an affectionate mare who enjoys human contact and loves fuss and attention. She is sweet natured and generally well behaved so will make a brilliant companion to other large horses. Cadet can be a bit worried until she is in a routine so will take a bit of time to settle into a new home. Although Cadet may get a little anxious in new situations, she will respond well to a confident handler who takes the lead. Due to her nature she would be best suited to a handler that is used to TB horses. Once settled she is sweet natured and likes to be pampered. Cadet requires a fair bit of grazing to maintain her weight so would be best suited to living with horses of a similar type. She is currently living out with a rug and is getting a feed in the morning to maintain her condition. Cadet is more than happy to live with mares or geldings but cannot be left on her own as she becomes very stressed. She is well behaved for our vet and farrier. Cadet would thrive in a quiet home where she will get lots of care and attention. If you could offer Cadet a brilliant new home please apply online.
Cadet is a pretty mare that loves human contact. She has a tendency to crib bite in the stable after a feed, but she is less likely to do so in the field.
Cadet came to Hall Farm as a welfare concern in April 2012. She was then rehomed but had to be returned due to a change in circumstances. Cadet was transferred to Belwade Farm in November 2019.
