Having been assessed by our team at the farm, Joey is ready to find a non ridden companion home. He is a very gentle chap who enjoys interaction and a quiet life. Joey originally came to us having lived with a mare but has lived with geldings at the centre so he could potentially live with either in a home. Joey is very good to handle and could live out 24/7 on good grazing with a rug on in winter or be stabled part time if needed. He likes companionship but, if introduced gradually, could stay on his own for short periods. We would love to find him a quiet home with horses on the same management and with someone used to handling big horses and where he could get the attention he enjoys.
Very sweet to handle and enjoys a routine.
Joey came in to our care with his half sister Susie in February 2019 after their owner sadly passed away.
