Barney is a cute skewbald gelding with such unusual markings. He is a lovely boy and is extremely well behaved even though he is still young. Barney would be best suited to a home with experience with young ponies to help him gain confidence in a new home. He would thrive in a home where he will receive plenty of attention and have a fuss made of him daily. Barney gets on well with other ponies and can often be seen playing in the field. He is currently living out with a group of geldings but would happily mix with mares. Barney is well mannered, has a laid-back attitude to life and has all his basic handling in place. He requires a full-face mask in sunnier weather as the pink skin around his eyes and nose is prone to sun burn. Barney has also suffered from rain scald in the past so copes better if he wears a rug over the winter to keep him dry. He is good for the vet and farrier. We estimate that Barney will mature at approximately 13HH. Barney may be suitable to back when he reaches four years old but will need to be assessed by a vet before being brought into work. Barney was found abandoned in a field on his own. He had overgrown feet and was underweight.
