Stuart Little is well named as he is just so dinky! He is a lovely wee youngster with a brilliant temperament. Although he is young, he has great manners and is very easy to handle. He gets called Little Stu at the farm and has been a bit of a farm favourite since arriving with us. Little Stu had some teeth issues which have since been resolved. He is missing his front incisors right now, but his adult teeth will come through when he is two and a half years old. Due to this he will need a home with plenty grazing for him to eat comfortably until his adult teeth come in. He will also need his teeth checked every six months by a vet or qualified equine dentist. Little Stu is great to handle and is very affectionate. He has such a cracking temperament and may be suitable as a lead rein pony in the future. If he is backed to ride, he will have a maximum saddle and rider weight limit of 28kg. Like all our youngsters he will need to be assessed by a vet when he reaches four years old to determine if he can begin work. If you think Little Stu sounds like the right pony for you, please apply online.
Stuart is a very friendly pony, with an equally cheeky character.
Stuart came into Penny Farm at just 3 months old within a small group of ponies. He was very thin, lethargic, and covered in lice. He was transferred to Belwade Farm in November 2019.
Stuart requires a nose net on in sunnier weather as his pink nose is prone to sunburn.
