Andy is a sweet little cob that is ready to find a home as a youngster for handling. Andy had a poor start in life and was found dumped at the side of the road as a colt. He was gelded not long after arriving and is currently living out with a large herd of geldings, who he gets on very well with. Andy is full of life and can be a little bit of a cheeky character but is incredibly friendly and loves people. He loves treats and can be a bit naughty and try to get into your pockets on occasions! Andy is good to catch, lead, handle and enjoys coming in from the field to be groomed. He is well behaved for both the vet and farrier. We estimate that Andy will mature at approximately 13hh and may be suitable as a small child’s riding pony or as a driving pony in the future. He will need to be assessed by a vet when he reaches four years old to decide if he can begin work. If you can offer Andy a new home where he will get lots of attention, please apply online.
Andy can be a little cheeky, but has a very friendly nature. He is lovely to handle and spend time with.
Andy came into Penny Farm in April 2019. He was found in immediate risk, abandoned at the side of the road. He was later transferred up to Belwade Farm in order to free up space at our Penny Farm centre.
