Whisky is ready to find a new home as a project pony. He is an inquisitive chap who, despite having not had any handling on arrival, has learnt his basic tasks well. Whisky will need a rehomer who can dedicate time to him daily to allow him to build up trust and confidence. In the future, he has the potential to make a driving pony or possibly a ridden pony. The ideal home would be with someone who has experience of bringing on youngsters and it would be great if they had driving experience as well. Whisky could be rehomed to someone with geldings and would need restricted grazing. Once settled in a home he could start some in hand work and possibly go out in hand showing as he is a handsome chap. He has also learnt to stand in a stable for short periods if this was to be part of his routine.
Very friendly but needs a quiet, consistent handler.
Whisky was found straying near roads and as no owner could be found, he was taken in to our care.
