Angus - full profile

Introduction

Angus is a very handsome chestnut gelding that is ready to find his perfect home as a companion with potential. Angus came into Belwade farm due to dental issues which have since been treated successfully. He can be a bit of a worrier so will need an experienced person to take him on loan and spend lots of time building his confidence. Angus has been brought into work whilst being with us and has been sat on. He is still very nervous in certain situations and we feel that he would benefit from another year to mature mentally and physically before re-starting his education. Angus is currently living out full time with a group of geldings and is very playful when out in the field. If Angus is broken to ride in the future, he will only be suitable as a hacking pony as he does not have the best conformation. He will have a maximum combined saddle and rider weight limit of 72kg. Angus will need his weight monitored over the summer months to prevent him gaining too much weight. If you think you could offer Angus a great new home, please apply online.

Temperament

Angus is a sweet natured sensitive gelding that can be shy with new people.

History

Angus came into World Horse Welfare Care in September 2018 due to dental problems that his owner could not afford to have treated.
