Angus is a very handsome chestnut gelding that is ready to find his perfect home as a companion pony. Angus came into Belwade farm due to dental issues which have since been treated successfully. He can be a bit of a worrier so will need an experienced person to take him on loan and spend lots of time building his confidence. Angus is very affectionate once he gets to know his handler and is a bit of a character. He is a cheeky chap that enjoys lots of attention. Unfortunately, Angus did not take well to ridden work and it was decided that he would be much happier as a companion. Angus is currently living out full time with a group of geldings and is very playful when out in the field. He would enjoy a home with other young ponies as he has bundles of energy. Angus would happily live with mares but would become stressed if left by himself. Due to his type he will need a home where his grazing can be restricted. Angus behaves well for our vet and farrier. If you think you could offer this cracking pony a great new home, please apply online.
Angus is a sweet natured sensitive gelding that can be shy with new people.
Angus came into World Horse Welfare Care in September 2018 due to dental problems that his owner could not afford to have treated.
