Crackerjack is ready to find a new home as a companion. He is very polite, stands in a stable quietly and would happily stay on his own if another horse was ridden. He will need to be in a field with other geldings only as he was gelded late, however he has had mares in the field next to him. Crackerjack has built up a strong bond with his handler and we would be looking for someone who has time to do this in a home. He was unhandled on arrival and very sensitive. Over time he has built up confidence with a good routine, quiet handling and praise. He will need restricted grazing to control his weight so a home where he can graze with ponies needing the same management will be perfect. There is no reason why he could not go for walks out in hand in a quiet environment when he is settled.
Very curious but sensitive. Quiet handling and a good routine are required for Crackerjack.
Crackerjack came in to our care as an entire stallion with several other ponies due to their owners health deteriorating.
