Pixie is now ready to rehome as a driving pony. She is a real loveable character, with a very happy attitude to life. She is incredibly friendly, and loves coming in to greet our visitors. She is currently living out and mixes well with mares and geldings. She is easy to catch, lead to and from the field, and groom. Pixie has recently been broken to drive and has taken to it really well. She is currently driving out around our farm tracks in walk and trot, and is very active and forward. Due to Pixies past history, she requires a fly rug or turnout on at all times during sunny weather to protect her skin from the sun. She also either wears a face mask or nose net. She is good for the vet and farrier. If you are interested in rehoming Pixie, please apply online.
Pixie is a real softie, and loves meeting people.
Pixie came into Penny Farm from Appleby Horse Fair after she was found in a horrendous condition. She was suffering from photosynthesis, which had caused her skin to burn and peel off, leaving raw skin exposed.
