Bilbo is a cute little cob that is ready to find a new home as a companion pony. Unfortunately Bilbo has not been blessed with the best conformation and was extremely reactive when we brought him into work meaning that he is not suitable as a ridden pony. Bilbo will make a brilliant companion pony as he is very sociable and playful with his field mates. He is good to handle but will need a confident handler to keep his cheekiness in check as he will push the boundaries on occasions. Bilbo is well behaved for both our vet and farrier. He does not need his grazing overly restricted as he had such a bad start in life he does need more grazing than most of our little cobs to maintain his weight. If you think you could offer Bilbo a new home please apply online.
Bilbo can be a little shy to begin with but once he gets to know you his character shines through.
Bilbo came into world Horse Welfare care when he was six months old with one other foal. They were in poor condition and very underweight.
