Staffa is a sweet little cob that is ready to find a new home as a companion pony. She came into Belwade Farm as part of a welfare case so can still be a little worried at times but is gaining in confidence every day. Once she gets to know you she is an affectionate mare and lovely to be around. We tried to bring Staffa into work but she has poor conformation and can be very sharp at times making her unsuitable to be a children’s ridden pony. Staffa gets along great with all of her field mates and we think she will make a brilliant companion pony. She is a typical cob type and puts on weight easily so will need a home where her grazing can be restricted. If you are looking for a companion pony like Staffa please apply online.
Staffa can be a little shy until she gets to know you.
Staffa came into World Horse Welfare care as one of a group of 20 that were taken in by Belwade Farm in September 2018. The group had originally been an RSPCA welfare case during 2018.
