Grindins Liberty Bell, known as Liquorice, is a cute little pony that is ready to find a new home as a companion with potential. She has not been at the farm long but is already one of her groom’s favourites as she is such a little character. There is no reason why Liquorice could not be broken to ride for a small child or broken to drive once out on loan. If she is broken to ride as a lead rein pony she will have a weight limit of 30kg which should include the weight of her saddle and rider. She was a little naughty to catch when she first arrived but this has improved massively and she is now happy to be caught and come in for a pamper. Liquorice has started some in hand work and has been lunged in walk and trot. She is an adorable little pony and likes a fuss being made of her. She is well behaved for our vet and farrier. Liquorice would be best suited to living with other small ponies as she will need to live on restricted grazing to prevent her becoming overweight. She is more than happy to live with mares and geldings. If you think that you could offer this cracking little pony a new home please submit an online application.
Liquorice was a little shy to begin with but has come out of her shell and is now very friendly.
Grindins Liberty Bell, also known as Liquorice came into World Horse Welfare due to welfare concerns along with eight other horses.
