Bertie is a real sweetheart. He is a happy, kind pony who mixes well with all ages and makes friends easily. He is never nasty to others and just gets on with eating grass and enjoying life. However, his appreciation of food does mean Bertie is prone to putting on weight very easily so it is essential this is monitored carefully. Bertie is always polite and well mannered and very easy to handle and care for. He is an affectionate pony who is a delight to have around.
Bertie is a very loving character and is always the first to greet you in the field. Bertie is good to handle in every way.
Bertie's mother came into our care in 2001 as part of a large welfare case. Bertie was born a short time later in May. Bertie has been out on loan and was recently returned when his rehomer moved house.
