Choc is a gentle. sweet natured mare with a very sensible outlook on life. She was pregnant on arrival at Hall Farm and she made an excellent mother to her foal Ice. Choc is a laid back mare who is generally well behaved although she does prefer a quiet, calm handler. Choc gets on well with all her companions and she avoids any trouble. This little mare has had a tough time in her short life so she deserves to find a loving home where she will slot in well and make a delightful non-ridden companion.
Despite her horrific past Choc is a delightful little mare with a lovely temperament. She gets on well with others and she never causes any trouble.
Choc was found on a building site where it was known at least 2 horses had died after falling into a slurry pit. Choc had been tethered to a storage container by a makeshift head collar that had cut into her poll area and the wound was infected. In the vet's opinion she had probably been like this for some weeks and had the cut been any deeper it is likely it would have severed her spinal cord. Choc was also pregnant.
