Oliver originally came into World Horse Welfare as a welfare concern. He went out on loan for youngster handling and came back to the farm due to a change in the rehomer's circumstances. Oliver has always been nervous and shy, but he has come on leaps and bounds. Oliver has been backed and is hacking around the farm, in walk, trot and canter and he goes out for a good hour. Oliver has arthritic changes in his hock and has had to have them medicated and due to this he can only hack. This can be discussed in further detail on application. Oliver would be suited to a pleasure rider and could easily go out and do charity fun rides. He will need a quiet and confident rider as he can be flighty, but he is never nasty. Oliver is good to do with the vet and farrier and sensible in traffic. He can carry a maximum of 10 stone including the weight of the saddle.
Oliver can be flighty.
Oliver was returned to Belwade Farm having previous been rehomed. Since being back he has undergone rehabilitation and backing.
