India is a lovely, genuine mare with a beautiful temperament. She gets on well with all others in her herd and she will mix with horses and ponies of all ages. Recently, India took on the role of foster mum to two abandoned and unruly foals who arrived at the farm. She did an excellent job with exactly the right mixture of nurturing and disciplining when required! Although India is a real lady with polite manners in most situations, she can worry inwardly so she will benefit from a calm, quiet handler to give her reassurance. She will also thrive in a regular routine. India is not suitable to ride but she makes a lovely non-ridden companion and she will be a valued asset in any yard.
India has a superb temperament and she was an excellent mum to her own foal and more recently to 2 orphan foals. She is such an honest, genuine mare who is usually well mannered and easy to care for.
India arrived at Hall Farm with a foal at foot along with another mare and foal. All four were in very poor condition and had been living with very little food or water. The owner would have faced prosecution, but it was impossible to prove ownership of the horses.
