Milly is a perfect companion mare. She has impeccable manners and will happily live out or be stabled part time if needed. Milly was successfully rehomed for several years and only recently returned to us through no fault of her own. She is good with the vet and for the farrier to have her hooves trimmed, but she needs patient handling with the farrier as she struggles to stretch her forelegs forward and so a tripod should not be used. Due to her age and very mild left hind lameness she cannot be ridden. We would love to find her a retirement home where she can live happily with some equine friends. As she will require restricted grazing, she would suit a home with horses or ponies who need similar management.
She is excellent to handle
Milly came into our care in 2013 after she was registered on our legacy scheme.
