Budweiser was totally unhandled when he arrived at Belwade Farm as part of a large group of semi-feral ponies. He was initially very nervous and as part of his rehabilitation he has had regular handling and grown tremendously in confidence. Budweiser has become a very sweet pony and loves attention, though he can still become nervous and will take time to develop a bond with his new handler. We are looking for a patient, reassuring handler who has time to spend with Budweiser and we are sure that regular, consistent handling will continue to improve his confidence. He sometimes needs a little bit of food to catch or stand quietly for the farrier, but this should become less necessary as he progresses through his education. This little pony is absolutely adorable and will make a lovely companion.
