From the moment he arrived at Glenda Spooner Farm as a young foal with his dam, Griff has proven to be very trusting and a quick learner. He is a handsome, friendly and inquisitive young gelding who mixes well with all horses, regardless of age, gender or size. He is always the first to come and say hello and is an active boy who enjoys learning about the world and making friends. Whilst he is a sociable chap, he is fairly laid back and stays out of trouble. Griff is very good to handle, including catching, leading, stabling, grooming, with the farrier and to load. He is looking for an experienced adult handler who is seeking an excellent companion pony. If there were also a child looking for a pony to love and build a bond with on the ground, Griff would certainly fit the bill. He will enjoy taking part in activities such as horse agility, in hand showing, walking out in hand or anything else which involves interaction with his handler in his new home. Griff's predicted adult height is 13.2hh. Griff could potentially make a suitable ridden pony for a small child in the future.
He is very inquisitive and although sensitive to new things, is good to handle.
Griff came in with is mother as part of a large welfare case in August 2015. He was totally unhandled and extremely nervous.
