Oreo is a bright and friendly gelding who adores attention. He has made excellent progress here at Belwade Farm after arriving entire and unhandled. Oreo would do best with an experienced rehomer who would be able to continue to regularly handle and train him. There is no reason why Oreo could not be trained to drive or be backed to ride in time. Oreo would be able to carry no more than 38kg combined saddle and rider. Oreo has starting the backing process, he can lunge, long rein out and has been loose jumped. Oreo has also had a dummy on his back, we can not complete the process as we do not have a small enough jockey. He is good to catch, lead and groom. As he was gelded this year Oreo will only be suitable to live with other geldings. Oreo is definitely a good doer so his diet will need management to keep him at the right weight.
Oreo is bright and curious. He is a friendly pony who seems to enjoy learning.
Oreo arrived as an entire, unhandled pony, within a large group that had been brought in as a welfare concern.
