When Beau arrived at Belwade as a two-year old, she was very nervous as she had been unhandled for most of her young life. With time and patience, her groom has done a super job and Beau`s confidence has improved tremendously. Beau has had regular handling and is good to do in all ways. She has begun a varied programme of ground work activities and has started lunging and long reining. Beau has the potential to make a good childrens pony with the right training and we are looking for a home where Beau can be backed and produced as a ridden pony. She is a sociable little pony and will required a home where she has company. Beau lives out full time but, because of her type, she is likely to need her diet managed to prevent her from gaining too much weight.
She learns quickly and is willing to please. With the right handling and training Beau has the potential to make a brilliant children's pony or driven pony in the future.
Beau arrived with a group of other mares following after they had been removed following concerns for their welfare. On arrival she was very nervous and resistant to handling.
