Darley is looking for a new home as a non ridden companion. Sadly recurrent back problems prevent him from being suitable for ridden work. He currently lives out with a group of geldings, but he has previously lived with mares too. Darley makes a superb equine friend and gets on well with other horses and ponies. It is important that Darley has consistency and this extends to his equine friends, as he does become anxious when faced with change. A home with more than one other horse would be the most suitable for him. Darley is a very sweet gelding who looks to his handler for reassurance and his ideal home will be with someone who has the time to spend building a bond with him and giving all the attention he deserves.
Darley is a sensible, genuine pony who thrives on routine.
Darley came into our care following concerns for a very large group; in excess of 60 horses and ponies. When they arrived at our farm, many were unhandled, had overgrown feet and were in poor condition.
