Darley is looking for a new home as a non ridden companion. Sadly recurrent back problems prevent him from being suitable for ridden work. He currently lives out with a group of geldings on restricted grazing to prevent laminitis and weight gain. Darley makes a superb equine friend and gets on well with other horses and ponies. It is important that Darley has consistency and this extends to his equine friends, as he does become anxious when faced with change. A home with more than one other horse would be the most suitable for him so he is not left alone, and with a quiet rehomer who can reassure him.
Darley is a sensible, genuine pony who thrives on routine.
Darley came into our care following concerns for a very large group; in excess of 60 horses and ponies. When they arrived at our farm, many were unhandled, had overgrown feet and were in poor condition.
